DeNews is a magazine about culture, spirituality and social issues—not seen from the heights of a pulpit or from the perspective of a television studio, but from the road. From the road where people meet others, hear their stories, touch on fragile and important matters, and sometimes simply fall silent because words cannot keep up. We want to write simply and profoundly at the same time: without grandiosity, without cheap sensationalism, but with sensitivity to what is true.
The name is no mere embellishment. "De" comes from Deus—God. "News" means news. We do not promise "easy answers," but we believe there is Good News capable of permeating everyday life: work, relationships, art, memory, and care for the community. So in DeNews, we will seek light not beyond the world, but in the very heart of the world—where people truly live.
We invite you to read words that do not shout. Texts that have the courage to listen. Photographs that are not merely "pretty shots," but attempts to capture what happens between moments. If a smile comes along the way—that is very good. If something hurts—that is good too, because a heart that feels is still alive. And if silence falls for a moment… please do not rush to turn the page. Sometimes silence is the most important paragraph of all.
Happy reading

The Second Issue of DeNews
We begin in the desert: where silence ceases to be uncomfortable and becomes necessary. We move towards the light of the Paschal Triduum, because faith is not a test of theory, but a space of encounter – sometimes very quiet, and therefore all the more real.

The First Issue of DeNews
For the launch of DeNews, I invite you to take a short, very personal walk: from chapel to chapel, from name to name, from gratitude to hope. This is our first conversation with the Reader – not through a loudspeaker, but in a whisper, like in a place where memory has its own permanent benches.
